'Common Birds of Zambia'
was first published by ZOS in 1990. It is a beginner’s guide and covers
just over 100 of the most commonly encountered Zambian birds. It has a
comprehensive introduction to birds and birding in Zambia and there are
colour illustrations by Gabriel Ellison. Available via firstname.lastname@example.org

'Owls want loving' This is a
school's reader that was first published by ZOS in the 1990's. It has
18 traditional stories of Owls and each chapter has a short exercise to
do at the end. There is also some biological information on owls and an
‘Look at the Birds of the Air’
by Sister Connie Treppe OP. This is a photographic children’s reader
which provides a wonderful starting point for children’s interest in
birds to develop. It covers some of the birds more commonly seen in
gardens in Zambia and has brief descriptions of all the birds.
